What is Lysita?

Lysita is a social network built around claims, not posts. Instead of an endless feed of opinions, the core unit here is a falsifiable statement that goes through structured debate, is open to sourced correction, and where credit for getting it right shifts toward whoever actually improves it over time.

Two things make this different from a typical discussion site:

• Reputation is built on candor, not popularity. Your candor score comes from conceding points, having corrections accepted, and winning rebuttals with evidence — not from raw upvotes.
• The site is divided into segments (like "Web Development" or "Security"), each with its own members, handles, and rules. Your identity and reputation in one segment never carries over to another.
