Effective Date: August 13, 2026
1. Respect for Intellectual Property
Lysita respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This policy explains how copyright owners can report claimed infringement and how users whose content is removed can respond.

4. Counter-Notification
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material removed and its location before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the U.S., an appropriate jurisdiction), and that you will accept service of process from the complaining party
We will forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. Absent a court action from the complainant, we may restore the content within a reasonable time as required by applicable law.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
Lysita will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers.
6. Claims Content and Fair Use
Because Lysita's core function involves users posting, quoting, correcting, and responding to claims, short excerpts used for purposes of commentary, criticism, or correction may be protected under fair use principles. This policy does not override applicable fair use or fair dealing law. Users are responsible for evaluating whether their use of third-party material is lawful.
7. Trademark Complaints
For trademark-related complaints (e.g., misuse of a brand name in a claim or username), contact trademarks@aoqconsulting.com with details of the alleged misuse.
8. Misrepresentation
Submitting a knowingly false takedown or counter-notice may result in legal liability, including damages under 17 U.S.C. Β§ 512(f).
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically; the "Effective Date" reflects the most recent version.
