Candor score

Candor score is Lysita's version of reputation — but instead of rewarding raw votes or popularity, it's built from an append-only log of moments where you were intellectually honest:

• Conceding a point in a debate.
• Having a correction you submitted accepted and merged.
• Winning a rebuttal with real evidence.

Candor score is scoped per segment — your score in "Web Development" is completely separate from your score in "Security," matching how identity and membership work everywhere else on the site. It's also weighted to resist gaming: trading reciprocal "wins" with the same small group of accounts doesn't build score the way genuinely diverse engagement does.

Inactivity causes a slow decay in candor score over time, so a score reflects sustained engagement rather than a one-time high point.
